PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine intake device capable of properly setting fuel flow rate characteristic in an engine rotation region in a wide scope in accordance with demand. SOLUTION: A guide passage 22 changing the direction of flow of air before flowing into a suction passage 3 of a carburetor 1 on just upstream side of the suction passage 3 is formed by a guide member 20 provided continuously with the upstream side of the carburetor 1. Fuel flow rate characteristic in a rotation region in a wide scope is properly set in accordance with demand of an engine by changing inclination of fuel flow rate characteristic of the carburetor 1 through tuning of the guide passage 22. By setting the fuel flow rate characteristic properly, air-fuel mixture having proper air-fuel ratio is supplied to the engine from the carburetor 1 to improve operation property in an engine low speed rotation region and improve exhaust gas characteristic in an engine high speed rotation region together.
