PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet for binding which is used for covers of various notebooks, dictionaries or the like, which is excellent in sheet moldability and suitability for a high-frequency welder and further outstanding in the appearance, feel, flexibility and abrasion resistance of a sheet molded article and which is free of a problem of environmental pollution. SOLUTION: A thermoplastic resin composition is prepared by compounding 50-99 wt.% of an elastomer composition (A) containing a hydrogenated styrene-butadiene-styrene triblock copolymer and 1-50 wt.% of an ethylenic resin (B) constituted of a copolymer of ethylene and a monomer selected from vinyl acetate, ethyl acrylate, butyl acrylate and methyl methacrylate. The sheet for binding is obtained by molding that composition in the shape of the sheet. The notebooks are bound with this sheet. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
