PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat developable photographic sensitive material having preferable so-called sharpness characteristics and density irregularity characteristics and excellent storage property, in particular, even when the material is used as a recording material for printing plate for print platemaking, and to provide a method for forming an image. SOLUTION: The heat developable photosensitive material has a photosensitive layer containing organic silver salt particles, silver halide particles and a reducing agent on a supporting body and is imagewisely exposed to light at≤500 nm.
