PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide ferrite coating magnetic metal particulates wherein high saturation magnetization and high insulation are acquired when formed into a molded body, a ferrite coating magnetic metal particulate molded body using the ferrite coating magnetic metal particulates, and a method for producing the ferrite coating magnetic metal particulates. SOLUTION: Ferrite solder plating reaction liquid having bivalent iron ions and pH tuning liquid are added while stirring is performed in a state that magnetic metal particulates are immersed in hotwater, and gas containing oxygen is brought into contact with a water surface. A dense and uniform ferrite coating layer whose average thickness is at least 2 nm and less than 100 nm is formed by ferrite solder plating reaction wherein pH of suspension is at least 7 and less than 12 and a liquid temperature is at most 50°C. By press-forming magnetic metal particulate powder thus coated with the ferrite layer, there is obtained the molded body high in resistivity, having high-saturation magnetization, and improved in the high-frequency property of permeability.
