PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a traveling machine body-lifting and lowering system for a combine harvester that permits the simplified operation and simplified structure of an operation handle of a lifting and lowering means for lifting and lowering an undercarriage of the traveling machine body. SOLUTION: In the combine harvester having a pair of running crawlers 3a on the underside of the undercarriage 2 of the traveling machine body, a culm cutter 4 for cutting and transferring culms in the front of and on the upper side of the undercarriage 2, a thresher 7 threshing the harvested culms supplied from the culm cutter 4 and a grain storage tank 9 for receiving the threshed grains and storing the received grains, the operation handle 5a of the lifting and lowering means 5 for lifting and lowering the undercarriage 2 of the traveling machine is set on the right side of the undercarriage 2 of the traveling machine body.
