<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wire gripper capable of certainly gripping a wire body without causing a large size of a shape with no fear that damage is imparted to the wire body comprising a twisted wire formed by twisting a plurality of bare wires. <P>SOLUTION: The wire gripper is provided with a wire gripping unit body having a fixed side wire gripping part 2; an operation member 7 turned in one direction by a pulling means turnably connected to the wire gripping unit body 1; and a movable side wire gripping part 9 displaced in an approaching direction relative to the fixed side wire gripping part 2 by turning of the operation member 7 to one direction and gripping the wire body 22 comprising the twisted wire of the plurality of bare wires 22a with the fixed side wire gripping part 2. A large number of strand ridges 19a, 20a are formed in gripping grooves 19, 20 for fitting the wire body 22 at the movable side wire gripping part 9 or/and the fixed side wire gripping part 2 at the arrangement corresponding to the arrangement of the respective bare wires 22a forming an outer peripheral surface of the wire body 22 and strand small grooves 19b, 20b for fitting the bare wires 22a are formed between the respective two adjacent strand ridges 19a, 20a. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
