<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coated paper having oil resistance and mar resistance unattainable even by the addition of silica particles. <P>SOLUTION: The coated paper 10 has a construction composed of a fibrous substrate 1 and a surface-protection layer 2 composed of a crosslinked and cured product of a resin curable by ionizing radiation and laminated on the substrate. An ethylene oxide-modified polymerizable compound is included in the resin curable by ionizing radiation and calcined kaolin particles are included in the surface-protection layer. The ethylene oxide-modified polymerizable compound increases the hydrophilicity to impart the surface protection layer with oil resistance and the calcined kaolin particle gives mar resistance. Preferably, a solid colored layer 3A and a primer layer 4 are laminated in the order before the lamination of the surface protection layer on the fibrous substrate from the viewpoint of adhesiveness and designing flexibility. These layers are preferably made of a cured urethane resin composed of an acrylic polyol and an isocyanate from the viewpoint of adhesiveness and oil resistance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
