A construction machine where a predetermined sound pressure level can be easily obtained in front of the machine and a alarm sound unit can be reduced in size. Alarm sound units (12, 13) are installed in the vicinity of at least one of headlights (9, 10) arranged on the left and the right of a vehicle body (3) of a construction machine. Alternatively, the alarm sound units (12, 13) are received inside brackets (11) for the headlights (9, 10). Alternatively again, the alarm sound units (12, 13) are arranged on either side of the left and right headlights (9, 10). A front attachment (17) does not prevent sound from the alarm sound units (12, 13) propagating forward, and as a result, a predetermined sound pressure level is easily obtained in front of the vehicle body (3).
