PURPOSE:To provide for formation of a multiplex image and a double-sided image having aligned image directions on the upper and lower sides by providing a re-supply transport passage for re-supplying sheets to an image forming part again, the first front-reverse converting passage for converting the front and reverse sides of the sheets and again returning the sheets to the re-supply transport passage and the second front-rear converting passage for converting the front and rear sides of the sheets and returning the sheets to the re-supply passage. CONSTITUTION:The re-supply passage 36 consists of the first U-turn passage 43 for making a U turn of the sheet (p), the first stack part 44 for transiently stacking the sheets (p), the first take-out roll 45 for taking out the sheets (p) one by one in a direction parallel to the sheet feed direction at a transfer part 29, and the second U-turn passage 31. The first front-rear converting passage 38 is consists of a branch 46 branched from the first U-turn passage 43, the second stack part 47, the second take-out roll 48 and the third U-turn passage 49. The branch 46 is consists of transport guides 50, 55 and a transport roll 56 while the second front-rear converting passage is constituted by transport guides 57, 57 and a transport roll 58. |
