PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reduction gear for an electric power steering device, equipped with a warm wheel with high wear and fatigue resistance, and high dimensional stability, ensuring high reliability. SOLUTION: A reduction gear 30 for the electric power steering device is comprised of a metal warm 20 connecting to a rotary shaft of an electric auxiliary steering power-generating motor and a warm wheel 10 engaging with the warm 20. In the warm wheel 10, a resin portion 12 where a gear teeth 12a is formed on an external surface is integrally arranged around the outer circumference of a metal core tube 11. The resin portion 12 of the warm wheel 10 is comprised of resin compositions containing polyamide resin, polyamide resin plasticizer and fibrous compositions. COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
