A case side bracket (40), fixed to a horizontal pipe member (50) inside an instrument panel (1), is connected to the top fixing part (20) of an electric connection box (10) via rotary shaft. The box is arranged vertically inside the panel. Bolt holes with slits opened at the lower parts are formed to the lower fixing part (30) of the box. Bolts, fixed to the bolt holes, are secured to the vehicle body side bracket (52) on a cowl side panel. When impact acts on front of the panel, the bolts disengage from the bolt holes via the slits, allowing the box to rotate forward with respect to the rotary shaft.
