PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner and an image forming device in which unnecessary consumption of toner is suppressed and a color picture having high quality with no slippage and change of color is recorded by stably keeping the resist accuracy of respective stations of which the centers are a plurality of image carriers even time elapses. SOLUTION: The optical scanner is provided with: a deflection means 213 which deflects light beams emitted from light sources and scans in the main direction as a lump; a housing 234 which positions and holds at least one of image forming means 218 among image forming means which form images of scanning light beams on corresponding image carriers; a plurality of reflection mirrors 223 to 229 which guide respective light beams to respectively corresponding image carriers; and a pair of side boards 266 and 267 which are facing to each other and located in the main scanning direction.
