PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a multilayer ceramic electronic component wherein an inner conductor pattern and an auxiliary patterned layer can be printed on a ceramic green sheet so that there may be no clearance and no overlap. SOLUTION: The inner conductor pattern is formed on a ceramic ferrite sheet strip 1 in which a ceramic auxiliary magnetic substance patterned layer 3 is already formed and unevenness is generated on a surface. At this time, difference in capacity of inner conductor pattern and a discharge section of a screen printing plate which are formed in printed field of the ceramic ferrite sheet strip 1 is beforehand taken into consideration. The form of the discharge section is set a little smaller than the form of a desired inner conductor pattern (if it puts in another way, the form of a clearance 4 of the ceramic auxiliary magnetic substance patterned layer 3), thereby obtaining an inner conductor pattern of desired dimension.
