<p>A three-dimensional shape determining system has a three-dimensional shape determining apparatus and an external calculating apparatus. The three-dimensional shape determining apparatus comprises light projecting means for projecting a pattern light to an object to be imaged; image data acquiring means for capturing an image of the object, to which the pattern light is projected, to acquire image data of such object and for capturing an image of the object, to which no pattern light is projected, to acquire image data of such object; pattern light position extracting means for extracting, based on the acquired image data, the position of the pattern light projected to the object; and three-dimensional shape calculating means for calculating, based on the pattern light position extracted by the pattern light position extracting means, three-dimensional shape data of the object. The external calculating apparatus comprises image-correcting means for correcting, based on both the image data of the object to which no pattern light is projected and three-dimensional shape data both acquired by the three-dimensional shape determining apparatus, the image of the object to which no pattern light is projected into a planer image viewed from a direction substantially perpendicular to a predetermined surface of the object.</p> |
