PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat-sensitive recording medium which shows high stability to a plasticizer and the like and also a significantly enhanced recording sensitivity. SOLUTION: In the heat-sensitive recording medium having a recording layer containing a colorless or pale color basic colorless dye and an organic developer as main components on a support, the heat-sensitive recording layer contains a urea-urethane compound represented by formula (1) as the organic developer and a diphenylsulfone derivative represented by formula (2), with an oxalic acid-di(p-methylbenzyl) or a 1,2-bis(phenoxymethyl) benzene. (In the formulae (1) and (2), R1 to R6 are a hydrogen atom, an alkyl group, a halogen atom, a nitro group, an alkoxy group, a cyano group and an allyloxy group.). |
