PURPOSE:To prevent acceptable parts from being excluded due to impossible recognition by determining whether a search area of recognition means is changed or not being based on the comparison result by a comparison device. CONSTITUTION:After holding a chip parts W by suction by lowering a suction nozzle 13 onto the chip parts W, a rotary plate 12 is allowed to start rotating, suction state of the chip parts W is recognized by the nozzle 12 using a recognition device 46, and the recognition value data is stored into a RAM 54. Then, the ratio of NG counter for a TOTAL counter is calculated by a calculation device, the calculated value and a setting value Q are compared by the comparison device, and then search area is expanded so that exclusion due to impossible recognition can be suppressed, thus controlling a recognition device 46. Fitting operation is performed being based on the recognition result. |
