A plasma display panel is provided to reduce a capacitance between an upper electrode and a lower electrode by permitting the plasma display panel to have a barrier rib structure with horizontal grooves and disposing bus electrodes on the horizontal grooves. A plasma display panel comprises a well type barrier rib structure in which discharge cells(313a,313b,313c) are defined by vertical barrier ribs(312a,312b,312c) and horizontal barrier ribs(311a,311a',311b,311b',311c,311c'). The horizontal barrier ribs have horizontal grooves(315a,315b,315c), and bus electrodes are arranged on the respective horizontal grooves. |
