The toothbrush includes a moulding element which under the cleaning pressure adapts to the shape of the tooth surfaces. The moulding element has flexible cheeks (8,9) which form a wedge in that they are connected to one another at one end and are spaced from one another at the other end. The toothbrush is designed to change through cleaning force from a rest position to a cleaning position so that the cleaning area (4) of the brush in the cleaning position is curved in comparison to the rest position. The moulding element is mounted inside the toothbrush and the cheeks can span a fluid or gel filled wedge cavity (17). |
