METHOD FOR PREPARING CONDUCTIVE POLYMER BY SOLUTION GAS PHASE POLYMERIZATION TECHNIQUE

Provided is a process for preparation of a conductive polymer comprising dissolving a monomer for synthesis of the conductive polymer in a solvent by vapor phase polymerization to allow easy vaporization of the monomer and vapor phase polymerization of conductive monomer having low vapor pressure in short time. The process comprises conducting solution-vapor phase polymerization by contacting a conductive polymeric monomer in gaseous state on a substrate coated with an oxidizing agent and a dopant to generate polymerization. The process is performed by admixing 5-95wt. parts of a conductive monomer with low vapor pressure in 5-95wt. parts of a solvent then vaporizing the mixture. The oxidizing agent and the dopant is selected from ferric toluene sulfonate, iron(III) chloride, potassium persulfate, a polystyrene sulfonic acid. The conductive monomer is any one selected from pyrrole, aniline, furan, thiophene and/or modified conductive monomer thereof.
