PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image processing method and device for converting colors according to user preferences to provide more favorable printed matter suited for users, a program, and a storage media for storing the program. SOLUTION: A system that performs a predetermined color correction process in such a way as to apply a technique for analyzing user preferences to interpret user color preferences and to utilize this interpretation in the correction of colors is constructed whereby an image output device and system more suitable for users than conventional devices and systems can be obtained.
