An operation state displaying device of an AC(Alternating current) arc welder having an electric shock preventing device is provided to simplify a circuit constitution by programming a display about operation states through a microcontroller, to increase efficiency by decreasing an area of hardware, and to simply control outputting of the AC arc welder in a multi-step style by switch-controlling the microcontroller. An operation state displaying device of an AC arc welder having an electric shock comprises a welding rod(112) and a base metal(114) connected with a first coil(N1), allowed with an AC voltage, of a transformer(110) and with a second coil(N2) of the transformer, respectively; an AC switching unit(120) switching the AC power; a galvanometer(130) detecting a change of electric current moving in the second coil of the transformer; a displaying unit(160) composed of green, red, and yellow light emitting diodes to represent a no-load, a load, and a short-circuit state of the AC switching unit; and a microcontroller(170) judging through the galvanometer whether the electric current is changed at the second coil and whether the AC switching unit is shot-circuited and controlling a trigger of the AC switching unit and the light emitting diode of the displaying unit to be turned on/off. Another switching unit(140) is installed between the second coil of the transformer and the galvanometer to output a multi-step voltage according to operation of a setting unit(150) by a control of the microcontroller.
