PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gear with a gear body and an auxiliary member surely adhered to each other via a thin adhesive layer by fixing the gear body and the auxiliary member adhered to each other even when constructed to be highly rigid, having greatly reduced rotational fluctuation by increasing the rigidity even when a gear member is formed thinner, and to provide a drive transmission device using the same. SOLUTION: The gear comprises the gear body having a toothed portion formed on the outer periphery and a cavity portion provided on the inner periphery and the auxiliary member formed of a material having mechanical strength equal to or more than a material for the gear body, arranged in the state of being fitted to the cavity portion and adhered and fixed to the inner peripheral face of the cavity portion of the gear body.
