PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relatively simply configured vehicle approach warning device for warning the approach of a vehicle to other vehicle or a pedestrian. SOLUTION: This warning device main body 6 is provided with an input interface 61 which inputs a position signal S from an antenna 5, a vehicle approach deciding part 62 which decides whether or not a vehicle approaches based on the strength of the position signal S inputted form the input interface 61, a warning signal generating part 63 which generates a warning signal based on the decision of the vehicle approach deciding part 62 and an output interface 64 which outputs a warning signal generated by the warning signal generating part 63.
