METHOD FOR ASSEMBLING/CONVEYING TREAD BELT STRUCTURE AND DEVICE THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To assemble a tread belt by attaching a structural member while restraining a weight change. SOLUTION: In the method for assembling/conveying the tread belt 4 on an assembling drum 10 attached to an assembling machine 100 having a rotating shaft 120, the tread belt 4 is formed on the assembling drum 10; the tread belt 4 and the assembling drum 10 are transferred to a conveying device 200 from the shaft 120; the tread belt 4 and the axis of the assembling drum 10 are set to be perpendicular with each other by pivotally moving the conveying device 200; the assembling drum 10 is folded and the tread belt 4 is separated from the assembling drum 10 and removed; and the assembling drum 10 is spread and coaxially aligned with the shaft 120 by pivotally moving the drum 10 and transferred onto the shaft 120. The tread belt 4 is formed of an elastomer member to be attached while the latter is hot and this device is equipped with a device for measuring the weight of the tread belt 4.
