<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a settlement system which improves the convenience in card use of a commodity purchaser by providing each function of credit card, prepaid card, point card and other cards to an IC card, and facilitates the enclosure payment of customers for a card operation agent such as a department store, a super market, a convenience store or a general store by providing better services to the customers. <P>SOLUTION: This system comprises: a purchaser information recording device for recording purchaser information including right information obtained by credit, point information, and purchaser identification information; a purchaser information processing means for reading the purchaser information and rewriting it as occasion demands; an identification means for performing an identification based on the identification information of the purchaser information; and a settlement processing device for performing a settlement processing according to a commodity purchased by a purchaser based on the right information of the purchaser information, and rewriting the right information and point information of the purchaser information recorded in the purchaser information recording device via the purchaser information processing means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI |
