PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photothermographic imaging material having high sensitivity and low fog with respect to photographic performances and further having excellent storage stability before development (raw stock preservability) and in storage stability after development (image preservability). SOLUTION: In the photothermographic imaging material having on a support a photosensitive layer containing photosensitive silver halide grains, an organic silver salt, a reducing agent and a binder, a polymer comprising a monomeric unit having a stable free radical group is contained.
