PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection device used in connection of leg columns and having a simple structure capable of ensuring connection of leg columns. SOLUTION: This connection device is integrally formed by bending a metallic piece in U shape and has a basic piece 11 positioned at the center of the metallic piece to stretch leg pieces 12, positional deviation prevention pieces 12 provided and extended at both ends of the basic piece by cutting and raising a part of the leg piece, respectively, and a lock part 20 formed by bending a leg part to position a projecting part on a surface side of the leg piece at a lower end position of each leg piece. The lock part 20 is provided with a rising piece 31 formed by bending a lower end of each leg piece at right angle, a side piece 32 formed by bending both side faces of the rising piece, and a reinforcing piece 33 positioned behind the leg piece 12 by bending an inner side end of the side piece, thereby giving sufficient strength to the lock part 20 which becomes the projecting part on the surface side of the leg piece 12.
