PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thrusting device having simple low-cost construction adequate for long-distance thrust without requiring accurate machining. SOLUTION: A hose-shaped flexible body is arranged in a gap between an outer cylinder and a thruster in a double folded manner. The flexible body is fixed at one outside end between one end of the outer cylinder and an outer cylinder lid while keeping itself air-tight. The end of the thruster inserted into the inside of the outer cylinder is connected to one inside end of the folded flexible body in air-tightness. Gas or fluid such as liquid is filled into a space formed between the outer cylinder lid and the hose-shaped flexible body, and the outer cylinder and the inside thruster are mutually elongated or, in turn, mutually contracted by removing the fluid therefrom.
