<p>The present invention relates to compositions utilizing an agent and an antibody, or fragment thereof. In these compositions, the agents, including agents such as anti-cancer, anti-metastasis, anti-leukemia, anti-disease, anti-adhesion, anti-thrombosis, anti -restenosis, anti-autoimmune, anti-aggregation, anti-bacterial, anti-viral, and anti-inflammatory agents, can be complexed or combined with or conjugated to the antibodies, or fragments thereof. In addition, the agent and/or the antibody, or fragment thereof, can be present in the composition in a sub-clinical amount, which is an amount that is less than the amount of the agent generally found to be clinically effective when the agent is administered alone. Preferably, in these compositions of the present invention, the agent is an anthracycline or a derivative thereof, e.g., doxorubicin (adriamycin) or a derivative thereof.</p> |
