EARTHQUAKE-RESISTING DEVICE FOR BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthquake-resisting device simply installed even to either of an existing or new building. SOLUTION: Vertical pieces 4 and bent pieces 5 constituting each L-shaped steel materials 3 are superposed and connected and fixed in a crossed shape through connecting fittings 6 in the three L-shaped steel materials 3 having a height from the foundation 1 to a beam 2 of a building H. An L-shaped non-superposing corner section 7 in which the vertical pieces 4 and the bent pieces 5 are not superposed is installed at one corner section and a reinforcing member R1for the corner section is formed while the reinforcing member R2for an reentrant angle section is formed of the L-shaped steel material 23. A plate 8 projected from the bottom edge section of the reinforcing member R1for the corner section is connected and fixed integrally to the foundation 1. A rubber plate 11 is disposed between a finishing material 10 at the corner section of the building H and the L-shaped non-superposing corner section 7, and the reinforcing member R1for the corner section and a column material 13 at the corner section are connected and fixed integrally by a plurality of wood screws 12.
