SALMONELLOSIS PREVENTING AGENT AND FEED ADDITIVE AND FEED CONTAINING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a new salmonellosis preventing agent to prevent a vertical infection from the infection to a breeding hen till that to its egg and chick, effectively preventing the infection with Salmonella to domestic animals such as pig and cattle and eliminating Salmonella fixed in the intestines, and provide a feed containing the preventing agent.

SOLUTION: The agent for the prevention of salmonellosis contains (1) powder of wood vinegar and (2) one or more substances selected from Allium scorodoprasum, Crataegus pinnatifida and Uncaria gambir as an active component.
