PURPOSE:To obtain a jig enabling sanding, grinding or the like at high productivity and with high accuracy, by a method wherein shapes or dimensions of a rod and dummy glasses can be appropriately changed as required. CONSTITUTION:In the jig for simultaneously machining a plurality of works, the dummy glasses 16, 16' are adhered respectively to the outside surfaces of an upper face plate 12 and a bottom face plate 13 connected to each other by a spacer 11 and having a diameter and a height of about 100mm.. At the outside surfaces of the plates 12, 13, respectively 8 rod-adhering grooves 14, 14' inclined at 3 against the bottom face are provided at regular intervals on the circumference of a circle having a radius of 40mm.. The grooves 14, 14' have a semi-circular cross-sectional shape the diameter of which is set to be slightly larger than that of a glass rod 15 at the part where the groove comes into contact with the rod 15. The rods 15 and the dummy glasses 16, 16' are fixed by adhering to the plates 12, 13 by a thermoplastic base adhesive. Accordingly, a jig for machining with high accuracy can be obtained. |
