PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent vegetables from being perished by high temperature, by lowering the temperature of a display area of the vegetables and the like, and to prevent the contamination of a selling space by preventing the leakage of the water from a container used for supplying the water. SOLUTION: This cold insulator is formed into a cube by sealing the freshwater into a triangular or square transparent resin bag body of which a length of one side is about 30-40 mm, and the freshwater sealed in the cube is frozen to be used for the cold storage of the vegetables. This cold insulator can be used to lower a temperature of the vegetable display area similarly as rock or block-shaped ice, the ice of freshwater inside of the bag body does not leak to the external even when the ice is melted, and the overflowing of the water from the container for supplying the water is not found, whereby the contamination of the selling space can be prevented, and the appearance in the display can be improved as the cold insulator is apparently seemed to be the transparent ice.
