PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a plant preservative liquid composition capable of extremely prolonging a preservation period of a plant body or its part, for example, a fresh flower, and capable of keeping a natural feel for a long period. SOLUTION: This plant preservative liquid composition is composed of a polyethylene glycol having an average molecular weight in the range of 200-800, polypropylene glycol having an average molecular weight in the range of 150-2000, and at least one kind of lower alcohol selected from the group consisting of methyl alcohol, ethyl alcohol, and propyl alcohol, wherein the polyethylene glycol in an amount of 10-50 wt% and the polypropylene glycol in an amount of 0.5-30 wt% are each contained in the composition, and further the polyethylene glycol and the polypropylene glycol in an amount of 10.5-60 wt% in total are contained in the composition and the other part of the composition comprises the lower alcohol.
