摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of predicting the characteristic value of a crosslinked polymer with good accuracy by applying a simulation technique and determining manufacturing conditions of the crosslinked polymer based on this prediction. SOLUTION: The method of predicting the characteristic value of a crosslinked polymer comprises at least a step (I) of inputting polymerization reaction controlling factors, a step (II) of calculating the polymerization degree distribution of a primary molecular chain and the number of crosslinking points of the produced crosslinked polymer at any polymerization time based on [1] the frequency factor and activation energy in an element reaction process of the polymerization reaction obtained by a molecular orbital calculation or an experimental technique and [2] the inputted polymerization reaction controlling factors, and a step (III) of calculating the distribution of polymerization degree of the crosslinked polymer at any polymerization time based on the calculated distribution of polymerization degree of the primary molecular chain and number of crosslinking points.
