PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication controlling method capable of properly performing communication control in a distributed network, and a communication terminal. SOLUTION: A relay communication terminal 100-3 transfers a request packet from a transmission source communication terminal 100-1 to a destination communication terminal 100-2. However, when a response packet from the destination communication terminal 100-2 or a discovery signal from the transmission source communication terminal 100-1 is received, the transmission of the request packet is stopped because the destination communication terminal 100-2 has already received the request packet so that a communication path can be established.
