CREDIT-CARD TRANSACTION METHOD OF TAXI TERMINAL

A method for credit card settlement of a taxi terminal regardless of wireless communication availability of a destination is provided to complete entire credit card settlement process for transaction amount according to a predetermined procedure by performing a credit inquiry after a passenger gets in a taxi and making/storing transaction particulars at the destination. Card information including a card number and an available period is read for the credit inquiry for the credit card of the passenger, and is transmitted to a VAN(Value Added Network) server through the wireless communication(S120). A response for the credit inquiry is received from the VAN server(S130). In case of an available card, the card information is stored in an internal memory(S138). The final taxi fare is fixed(S140). A receipt for the transaction particulars of the final taxi fare is output(S150). A credit card settlement request for the final taxi fare is made/stored in the internal memory(S160).
