CHIP INDUCTOR

摘要

A chip inductor is provided to reduce generation of parasitic capacitance due to an external terminal and increase an effective area except for the external terminal in a design area by reducing an electrode area of the external terminal. A ceramic block(40) is composed of a lamination of plural ceramic sheets. A spiral coil pattern is formed inside the lamination of the ceramic sheets. The first and second concave grooves(44,45) are vertical to a longitudinal direction of an internal electrode pattern of the ceramic block in order to expose a part of the internal coil pattern from both opposite sides. The first and second outer terminals(46,47) are formed with lateral and bottom electrode patterns which are formed within the first and second concave grooves(44,45). The lateral electrode pattern is connected to the internal coil pattern. The bottom electrode pattern is formed on one side parallel to the internal electrode pattern of the ceramic block in order to be integrally connected to a corresponding lateral electrode.
