To provide a process for treating sewage wastewater, which miniaturizes a treating apparatus and significantly reduce required land by increasing the treating efficiency. Raw water is flown in a flocculation tank to be flocculated. The flocculated water is flown in an exit chamber of a rectangular, dissolved air floatation tank. Ultrafine bubbles having a size of 3 microns, which are exited and diffused in the exit chamber, are attached and adsorbed to suspended solids, compulsorily floated to the water surface and transferred to a separation chamber to be separated into sludge and supernatant. The separated sludge is transferred to a sludge recovery chamber by the operation of a skimmer. The separated supernatant transferred to a supernatant chamber is transferred to a biological membrane treating tank where dissolved organic materials is decomposed and treated water is transferred to a discharge chamber. The water quality of the transferred treated water is detected by a control device of discharge water quality. When the detected water quality is less than a discharge reference level, the treated water is re-treated at the dissolved air floatation tank or the biological membrane treating tank. The sludge separated from the separation chamber is transferred to a sludge natural filtration and dehydration device to naturally filter and dehydrate the sludge.
