摘要 A WDM optical communication system capable of monitoring temperature is provided to install FFPI(Fiber Fabry Perot Interferometer) sensors in routers of an OLT and an RN(Remote Node), respectively, and to compare each output waveform to equally maintain the temperature in the router of the OLT, thereby preventing inconsistency of wavelength bands. An OLT(100) comprises as follows. An LD(Laser Diode)(401) generates an optical signal for temperature compensating. An FFPI sensor(416) receives a signal from a coupler(403), and generates an output waveform by inputting the signal. A processor(406) compares sensor signals transmitted from two PDs(405,407), and controls such that temperature of the OLT(100) can be identical with an RN(200). The RN(200) comprises as follows. An FFPI sensor(417) receives a signal from a coupler(414), and generates an output waveform by inputting the signal. A WGR(Waveguide Grating Router)(413) receives uplink signals received from each of ONUs(300-1~300-15) and a sensor signal outputted from the coupler(414), and transmits the received signals to the OLT(100).
