METHOD FOR PRODUCING HUMAN ANTITHROMBIN

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a human antithrombin at a high concentration by a cell culture method. SOLUTION: The human antithrombin is produced by culturing a cell obtained by transforming a plasmid having a gene encoding the human antithrombin and a dihydrofolate reductase gene in an expressible state into a CHO cell in a hollow fiber type cell incubator containing a serum-free culture medium floating and culturing the cell. In the process, the continuous culture is carried out while exchanging a part of the cell culture solution with a fresh culture solution so that the concentration of the human antithrombin is at least≥1 IU/mL in the cell culture solution.
