PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a conventional wireless connection type refrigerator that it is difficult to place a load such as a box on the upper surface of the refrigerator because of the presence of a radio communication means thereon, and putting a metallic object which affects radio propagation is not assumed. SOLUTION: This refrigerator comprises the radio communication means 2 for radio communication provided on the upper surface of a body, and retracting means 3 and 4 for retracting the radio communication means 2. The radio communication means 2 is raised vertically by the retracting means 3 and 4, whereby the bottom area of the radio communication means on the upper surface of the body is reduced.
