PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance locking strength by preventing deformation of a pawl part of a strike plate; to strengthen a force for locking with a gutter supporting implement body; and to facilitate manufacture. SOLUTION: A rain gutter supporting implement A is equipped with a mounting rod 1, the gutter supporting implement body 2 which is slidably connected with the mounting rod 1, a horizontal turning lock lever 3 which can be horizontally turned, and the strike plate 4 which is moved upward and downward depending on the turning operation of the lock lever 3; these are connected together by a vertically penetrating connecting shaft 5; and the turning operation of the lock lever 3 makes the mounting rod 1 and the body 2 fixed in a pressure contact state or makes them slidable by releasing the pressure contact state. Characteristically, in the strike plate 4, the pawl parts 43 are formed at the longitudinal front and back ends of a base plate 41, equipped with a shaft hole 42, for the connecting shaft 5.
