PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a double ring network transmission system for efficiently transmitting a multicast data packet. SOLUTION: An address managing part of a transmitting terminal housing node 11d for transmitting a multicast data packet on a data link layer segment, stores a router housing node 11b on the data link layer segment and receiving terminal housing nodes included in a multicast group. and the transmitting terminal housing node 11d relays a multicast data packet transmitted from a transmitting terminal 13d to the router housing node 11b when a self-node address managing part stores one router housing node 11b and no receiving terminal housing nodes, in other cases, relays the multicast data packet to all nodes, and performs unicast transmission to one destination node when there is the one destination node of the multicast data packet.
