PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for threatening and driving away animals, constituting all of the device body thereof to be lightweight, capable of a plurality of setting and suitable for bird large groups. SOLUTION: This device comprises a plastic device body 1 comprising a cylinder and a head-cut reversed conical cylinder connected therewith, and a wire net 2 set under the conical cylinder, made of a wire net, of a cylindrical shape and for receiving fired firecrackers. A saucer 4 is set at the inside upper part of the device body 1 and for setting a spiral incense stick and the firecracker. Many holes for set firecrackers are formed at the bottom of the saucer 4, and an incense stick receiver element having a sawedged shape for preventing heat conduction to the device body 1 is arranged over the holes, and set in a lattice form. Timing of ignition by the incense stick is freely adjustable by properly selecting a hole for setting the firecracker. The firecracker is exploded in the wire net and so sparks are not scattered.
