PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a restricting cage for a small animal safely and simply restricting the animal and securing a working space sufficient for medical examination or treatment operation. SOLUTION: This restricting cage for small animal comprising four props each installed on four corners of a rectangular base plate, beams connecting above each top end, a side grating frame of the right side of the cage, a side grating frame of the left side of the cage, a front door and a rear sealing plate, wherein the side grating frame is designed to have a size inscribing to the props on both ends, hooking the right side upper part and lower part of the side grating frame by a hooking means and sets a space between the side grating frames so as to be freely variable by parallelly sliding the one side grating frame to the other side grating frame.
