<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller for a vehicle capable of achieving a power performance of the vehicle required by the driver after stopping temporarily. <P>SOLUTION: The controller of the vehicle includes an ECT_ECU which executes a program consisting of a step (S200) to acquire the current position information from a navigation system, a step (S400) to acquire the ahead vehicle information from the vehicle concerned using a milli-wave radar when the vehicle is stopped temporarily (Yes at S300), a step (S700) to store temporarily the driver identification information, position information, and accelerator opening information when the ahead vehicle is not sensed (Yes at S500) and the accelerator is not full open while it is in the On-condition (Yes at S600), a step (S900) to judge that the driver has a will to enhance the functionality and request the starting acceleration after the temporary stop when the temporarily stored information is identical to the past logistics information (Yes at S800), a step to conduct the functionality enhancing driving force control, and a step (S1100) to store the temporarily stored information in a memory as the past log. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
