<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for treating 1, 4-dioxane capable of efficiently decomposing and removing 1, 4-dioxane contained in solid, liquid or gas. <P>SOLUTION: In a dioxane treatment system 10, waste water containing 1, 4-dioxane is aerated in an aeration tank 12 and the 1, 4-dioxane in the waste water is actively moved into aeration air. The aeration air is brought into contact with water atomized by a scrubber device 16 and the 1, 4-dioxane is actively moved into the atomized water. The atomized water is subjected to the 1, 4-dioxane treatment in a dioxane decomposition apparatus 18 as discharge water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI</p> |
