WASTEWATER TREATMENT EQUIPMENT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide wastewater treatment equipment which does not discharge a reheat-treated carrier from a biological treatment tank.

SOLUTION: In the wastewater treatment equipment 10, the carrier in the biological treatment tank 12 is periodically recovered with a carrier recovery apparatus 22 and sent to a heating-treatment tank 14. The carrier which is heated and contracted in the heating-treatment tank 14 is sent to a shape recovery tank 16 and immersed for 30 minutes or more at the same temperature as that of the biological treatment tank. Since the immersed carrier recovers the shape, the carrier is prevented from discharging out of the biological treatment tank 12 with the treated water with a screen 20 even if the carrier is returned to the biological treatment tank 12.
