PURPOSE:To reduce the bad influence of image formation such as blur and distortion of a formed image, by forming a spatial image of an original image by a microlens array and scanning the plane of this spatial image by a moving optical system. CONSTITUTION:An optical scanner has an original platen 11. A microlens array plane plate 20 which has the same size as the platen 11 approximately is arranged under the platen 11 in parallel with the rear face of the platen 11, and an unmagnification erect spatial real image O' of an original which is set facedown on the platen 11 is formed in a space under the microlens array plate 20. This spatial real image O' is used as an original image, and the plane of the real image O' is scanned by moving optical systems 14 and 16. Thus, the bad influence of image formation such as blur and distortion of the formed image on an image recording medium is reduced even if a mirror is rotated or oscillated. |
